NARRATIVE/BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

INTRODUCTION:

Thank you for your interest in the expert witness services of Richard Sadove, M.D. Dr Sadove has experience as a witness in a court of law who is an expert on the subject of Plastic Surgery. He is known for his clear communication, candor, coachability, and confidence. He is able to testify as to certain facts or events because he has the technical knowledge, skill, and experience.

Dr. Sadove has been Board Certified by The American Society of Plastic Surgery (formerly The American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) since 1989. Following his training and service as a professor of plastic surgery at the University of Kentucky and University of Florida Medical School’s, Dr. Sadove has been in private practice for nearly two decades. He currently resides in Gainesville, Florida.

PRACTICE SPECIALIZATION:

Dr. Sadove has practiced all plastic surgery of the face and body and specialized in facial rejuvenation (face-lift, blepharoplasty, brow-lift, etc.), breast surgery (augmentation, reduction, breast-lift), laser surgery/treatments (CO2, etc.), and liposuction. All these skill causes him to meet all Frye standards.

EDUCATION:

Born to a medical family, Dr. Sadove attended college at the prestigious Washington University in St Louis. He traveled around the world by himself prior to starting medical school.

Dr. Sadove then attended medical school at the Rush University of the Presbyterian- St Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. There he completed his Internship and five year General Surgery Residency as a Chief Resident through 1983 . Dr. Sadove completed his two and a half year residency in plastic surgery at the then top training program in the USA, Plastic Surgery Specialists in Norfolk, Virginia.

He is the recipient of many top honors from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. As Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Kentucky, he was honored by the US State Department to receive a Fulbright Professorship. He opened a Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Children’s Hospital in Tel Aviv, Israel and later entered private practice in Tel Aviv. It was his honor to be admitted to the European Association of Plastic Surgeons. Author of over 40 publications, Dr Sadove has lectured in more than 30 countries around the world. He remains the Facial Plastic Surgery editor for the Plastic Surgery Journal for more than a decade.

In June of 2006, Dr. Sadove returned to the United States, specifically the University of Florida in Gainesville. He reentered his current private practice in 2008.

LICENSURE:

Dr. R Sadove currently holds a valid license to practice medicine from the State of Florida (#82938), which he has held in good standing since 2006.

BOARD CERTIFICATIONS:

Dr. Sadove is Board Certified Plastic Surgeon by The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (formerly known as The American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties) and has been so certified since 1989.
